West Brook Winery is one of New Zealand’s oldest and most respected boutique wineries owned and operated by the renowned fourth generation, Ivicevich family winemakers. A must visit as part of the Kumeu Wine Country wine trail
Grapes are sourced from top New Zealand growing regions. Using innovative techniques and knowledge gained by making wine from Marlborough, Hawkes Bay, Auckland, Waimauku, Kumeu, Matakana, Waiheke, Gisborne, Northland the West Brook winemakers produce iconic wine styles that show the full potential and diversity of New Zealand’s growing regions.
Located in the Waikoukou Valley, Waimauku, west of Auckland, West Brook derives its name from a west Auckland rail stop, of the same name, on the Oratia stream that once had a wheel driven mill on it. The new winery site has its own stream and a pond adjacent to the winery, providing an obvious link to the West Brook name.
Under the careful stewardship of Chief Winemaker Anthony Ivicevich and his wife Sue, West Brook has developed an enviable global reputation for producing hand-crafted, award winning wines.
West Brook also runs an Adoptavine program in conjunction with boutique wineries in Australia.
You get great deals, vineyard work shops, your name on your selected grape variety, etc.
Adopt a Vine is a great gift for any one that drinks wine, particularly for that hard to buy for person.
