Anthony Ivicevich, Chief Winemaker
Anthony has been making wine since he was 15 years old, the third generation of a wine making family that started in New Zealand in 1935. Anthony learnt his trade through a combination of 'hands on' experience and industry-related courses. Anthony's focus has always been on producing wines of the highest quality, and throughout his career his wines have consistently been awarded gold medals and trophies at international wine competitions. For many years Anthony also ran a fine wine store in Auckland, so he has an excellent understanding of the retail environment. He has now sold his retail store and relocated his Henderson winery to a purpose-built site in the Ararimu Valley in Waimauku. Here he and his family continue to produce award-winning wines under the West Brook, Blue Ridge and Ivicevich brands.
